About a year ago, I started down the path to a “new
me.” Exercise was never part of my daily
activities, nor was eating healthy.
After I gave birth to my son, I realized that I needed to change my life
to obtain the dreams I've always had for myself, along with living a healthy
life. I started working out 5 times a
week, which consisted of three heart-pumping, hour long exercises and two days
of Body Pump. The hardest hurdle for me
to overcome is keeping my motivation strong.
One of my favorite quotes is spoken by Lance Armstrong –
“Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.”
When I find myself shaking from weakness during an exercise, I quickly
remember this quote and instantly regain strength. One note we need to remember, is as he has
spoken, "Pain is temporary."
